Job description

At Catalyst, one of our Core Values is to “Delight Clients.” We are looking for a B2B Account Director who upholds this value and will lead our B2B client strategy, proactively problem solve and take initiative to exceed client expectations. Must be an excellent communicator, a strategic thinker, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Must also have experience working with B2B clients within the tech industry.

Responsibilities include:

Developing and owning key relationships that build trust-based partnerships with clients

Leading B2B accounts and internal team members

Gaining a broad and deep understanding of the client’s business and customer landscape

Communicating customer and industry insights and trends and identifying how they are relevant to client growth or challenges

Solving problems

Inspiring, challenging and managing the agency team in the development and presentation of all client-facing materials

Negotiating with outside vendors and partners

Creating client scopes of work based on their needs, while accurately estimating time and resources needed from Catalyst

Managing day-to-day agency team dynamics to ensure smooth collaboration and effective idea generation that delights clients

Growing existing business by seeing opportunities to deliver additional services to clients that will help them grow their business

Growing new business by participating in pitches, proposal development, and networking

Managing and driving the professional growth of team members

Being an evangelist for Catalyst

You’re a good fit for the role if you have:

10+ years of marketing or advertising agency experience

7+ years of B2B client experience

Experience developing brands, creating marketing plans, designing lead generation campaigns and leading website design projects for B2B clients

Experience staffing projects and utilizing multiple resources

Proven ability to lead and inspire an internal team

A love for effectively presenting and selling ideas to senior clients

Proven ability to communicate and interact effectively with clients

Ability to build trust and respect through active coaching, communication, and listening

A solution-oriented mindset

A sense of humor

A strong work ethic

A passion for marketing, generating leads and showing positive results

A sense of adventure (we are a growing company, after all)

Bachelor’s degree in related field

This is a full-time position located in Denver, CO. Medical and dental benefits offered. Bonuses are available. Some travel may be required. Some evening and weekend work may also be required based on client needs.
